How To Insert An Ear Crawler

Place the earring through your piercing as you would a regular earring. Once fully through, twist the design so that it is crawling up the outer lobe of your ear. It is important to be sure to hold the bottom of the earring tightly to avoid breaking the post before adjusting. To do this, squeeze your ear piercing tightly with the index finger and thumb. You will be pinching right over top of your piercing and by doing this, you will provide the wearable post (the part that is actually in your ear piercing) with support so that it will not bend while adjusting (overbending can cause the earring post to break at the point where it joins the design). Once you have it supported, you can go ahead and adjust the back of the post as needed. Gently push the back of the post wire with your opposite hand behind the ear lobe until you feel it is secure.
